Antivibration dampers or shock absorbers are mainly used when it is necessary de dampen the internal vibrations of a machine (engines, pumps, hydraulic groups, etc.) or to allow the vibration of some parts of the machine but avoiding or minimising the transmission of vibrations outwards (sieves, vibrators, etc.) All the models can be loaded in compression and shear.
